This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Bluebonnet Software LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Bluebonnet," "we," "us," or "our"), the developer of the Clicked extension ("Clicked" or the "Software"). By installing, accessing, or using Clicked on any supported browser or platform, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
Clicked is an independent software project developed and maintained by a single developer operating as Bluebonnet Software LLC. As a solo project, our support response times and service guarantees are more limited than those of larger software companies. We are committed to providing the best possible experience within those constraints.
Standard of care: Any reference to "reasonable efforts," "best efforts," or similar standards must be interpreted against the context of a single individual operating a part-time software project without dedicated staff or resources.
"Explanation" means a single instance of AI-generated text produced by Clicked in response to one user-initiated text selection in a specified language. Each unique combination of selected text and requested output language constitutes one Explanation and consumes one Credit. Using "New Analogy" or switching languages also constitutes a new Explanation.
"Credit" means one unit of allowance to generate one Explanation. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, non-refundable once consumed, and are consumed in this priority order: Trial Credits first, then Monthly Subscription Credits, then Referral Credits and Bundle Credits (soonest expiring first).
"Registered Email Address" means the email address used to create your Clicked account. Loss of access to this address may result in permanent loss of account access.
"Official Shutdown Event" means: (a) an email to all users with an active subscription announcing discontinuation; (b) for subscription users — removal from all active Extension Stores combined with cessation of our backend API service, which would prevent the extension from generating explanations; (c) for annual license users — removal from all active Extension Stores (note: annual license users who have already installed the extension and use their own API key may be able to continue using it independently of our infrastructure, but we make no guarantee of continued functionality after an Official Shutdown Event); or (d) Core Functionality remaining continuously unavailable for 30 or more consecutive calendar days.
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement and payment of applicable fees, Bluebonnet grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Clicked on any Supported Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not: reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software; sublicense, sell, or transfer your license; use the Software for commercial purposes without written consent; circumvent usage limits or trial restrictions; use the Software to build a competing product; or use the Software in any way that violates applicable law.
Your use of Clicked is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference.
Clicked offers a free trial of 50 Explanations over 7 days. No credit card is required. Trial Credits expire after 7 days from first use or when 50 Explanations are consumed, whichever occurs first. Trial Credits have no cash value and cannot be extended except through a valid promotional code.
Right to change trial terms: The trial period duration (currently 7 days) and trial credit allowance (currently 50 Explanations) are offered at our discretion and may be changed at any time for new users. Users who have already started a trial will retain their original trial allocation for its duration.
Free tier after trial: Upon expiry of the free trial, users are automatically placed on a free tier which provides 3 free Explanations per day at no charge, with no time limit. Free tier daily limits reset at midnight UTC. The free tier allowance and terms are offered at our discretion and may change at any time.
Upon payment of the then-current one-time annual license fee (currently $20 at launch), you are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use Clicked with your own third-party API key.
Right to change pricing: The annual license price (currently $20) is the price at launch and may change at any time for new purchasers. Your purchase locks in the license at the price you paid — you will not be charged again.
Important clarification on pricing equivalence: For the purpose of calculating prorated refunds only, the annual license fee is treated as equivalent to four (4) months of the then-current standard monthly subscription price at the time of purchase. This equivalence is used solely as a refund calculation framework and does not imply these are equivalent products. The annual license plan and monthly subscription are fundamentally different — outright buyers use their own AI provider API key and bear their own API usage costs, while subscription users use our AI infrastructure. As both the annual license price and the monthly subscription price may change independently over time, any specific dollar amounts mentioned as examples in this Agreement are illustrative only and may not reflect current pricing.
The annual license is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. After 12 months, access expires and the user may choose a new plan — no automatic renewal or charges. Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase if Core Functionality has been continuously unavailable, prorated based on remaining full calendar months of the license period.
AI provider: The monthly subscription plan is currently powered by Google Gemini. We reserve the right to change the AI provider or model at any time without notice. The quality and nature of explanations may vary as a result.
Introductory pricing: New subscribers receive a promotional first month at $2 USD, applied automatically at checkout. From the second month onwards, the standard rate of $5/month applies. The introductory rate is available to first-time subscribers only.
Right to change pricing: The prices stated in this Agreement ($2 introductory first month, $5/month subscription, $20 annual license) are the prices at the time of launch and are not guaranteed to remain fixed. Bluebonnet Software LLC reserves the right to change pricing at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify existing subscribers of any price changes before they take effect. For existing subscribers, any price increase will not take effect until the start of a new billing cycle following notification. Your continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price. You may cancel at any time before a price change takes effect with no penalty.
Upgrade from subscription to annual license: Upon upgrading, the monthly subscription will be cancelled automatically. Any unused Monthly Subscription Credits will be forfeited immediately with no refund, compensation, or carryover.
Your subscription renews automatically each month. You may cancel at any time; however, cancellation must be made at least 3 days before your renewal date to take effect for the current billing cycle. Cancellations made within 3 days of the renewal date will take effect at the end of the following billing cycle. No partial month refunds are issued. Failed payments will be retried up to 3 times over 7 days per Stripe's default schedule.
Additional Credit bundles may be purchased at rates displayed in the app at the time of purchase. Bundle pricing is offered at our discretion and may change at any time. Bundle Credits expire 3 months from purchase date. Bundle Credits are non-refundable except where Core Functionality has been continuously unavailable for more than 30 consecutive days within the bundle's validity period.
Bundle credits require an active subscription: Bundle Credits may only be purchased by users with an active monthly subscription. If your subscription lapses or is cancelled, any unused Bundle Credits are frozen immediately and cannot be used. Frozen Bundle Credits are automatically restored if you resubscribe within 90 days of your subscription ending. After 90 days, frozen Bundle Credits expire permanently and are forfeited with no refund.
Users may make optional discretionary payments ("Support the Developer") at amounts of $5, $10, $15, or a custom amount of their choosing. These payments are entirely voluntary, grant no additional features, Credits, or benefits, and are non-refundable under all circumstances.
All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. Sales tax, VAT, GST, or other applicable taxes may be added at checkout based on your location, collected automatically by Stripe. You are responsible for any applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.
Users with an active paid subscription may share a referral link to invite new users to Clicked.
Eligibility — referred user (B): Referral credits for the referred user are available only to users who have never previously held a Clicked account. Returning users — including those who previously deleted a Clicked account — are not eligible to receive referred-user credits. There is no such restriction on the referring user (A), who may refer new users regardless of how long they have been a Clicked subscriber.
How credits are earned:
The 30-day requirement applies to both users and exists to protect against refunds, failed payments, and abuse. Credits are not awarded if a subscription is cancelled, refunded, or lapses within the first 30 days.
Using Referral Credits: Referral Credits can only be used while the holder has an active paid monthly subscription. If a subscription lapses or is cancelled, any unused Referral Credits are frozen and cannot be used until the subscription is reinstated. Referral Credits expire 90 days from the date they are awarded and cannot be reinstated after expiry.
Credit amounts are displayed in the app and may be changed at our discretion, including being discontinued entirely, for new referrals at any time. Existing awarded credits are not affected by such changes.
Anti-gaming: Self-referral, fraudulent referrals, creating multiple accounts to generate referral credits, and any other abuse of the referral system will result in forfeiture of all Referral Credits and may result in account termination.
Clicked, including all code, design, branding, and content, is the property of Bluebonnet Software LLC. You are granted only the license described in Section 4. All other rights are reserved.
Clicked is built on and integrates with a number of third-party services. The following includes some of the key services currently used, but is not an exhaustive list — our infrastructure may include additional services not listed here. This list of providers is subject to change at any time without prior notice. We periodically update this section to reflect our current infrastructure. Your use of Clicked is subject to the applicable terms and privacy policies of these providers. Bluebonnet is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.
Clicked may be discontinued at any time. Upon an Official Shutdown Event, all Credits are immediately voided with no compensation. Where possible, we will provide advance notice of discontinuation via email to your Registered Email Address.
Bluebonnet may suspend or terminate your access for: violation of these Terms; non-payment; fraudulent or abusive activity; or any reason at our sole discretion. Where termination is not for cause, we will make reasonable efforts to maintain your access until the end of your current paid Billing Cycle. Upon termination, all Credits are immediately voided.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. BLUEBONNET SOFTWARE LLC EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION, AND ACCURACY OR FITNESS OF THIRD-PARTY AI OUTPUT.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bluebonnet Software LLC's total liability to you shall not exceed the following amounts based on your plan type:
In no event shall Bluebonnet Software LLC's total liability exceed the amounts stated above, regardless of the nature of the claim, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, both parties agree to attempt good faith resolution by emailing legal@tryclicked.app and allowing 30 days for a response. For disputes exceeding small claims court jurisdiction, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under AAA rules in Harris County, Texas.
Class action waiver: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO BRING OR PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION AGAINST BLUEBONNET SOFTWARE LLC. ALL CLAIMS MUST BE BROUGHT IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY ONLY.
Any claim must be brought within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim. Claims brought after this period are permanently barred.
By using Clicked, you agree to these Terms of Service, the EULA above, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Clicked. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using Clicked, you represent that you meet these requirements.
You agree not to use Clicked to: violate any law or regulation; infringe any third-party rights; harass, harm, or deceive others; circumvent usage limits or trial restrictions; attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access; or use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent.
All payment terms are defined in EULA Section 7, which governs by reference. Prices shown exclude applicable taxes. Tax is calculated at checkout by Stripe based on your billing location.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes via email. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
